Jesus tells us that He is the Good Shepherd, the one who knows His flock and lays down His life for them. As His disciples, we are called to share in that same care for one another. This responsibility is not reserved only for clergy, but is entrusted to all of us—parishioners, priests, staff, and volunteers alike—so that together we may watch over the needs of God’s people. Part of this call is making sure our parish is a safe and welcoming home for every person.
St. John Paul II Classical Catholic School follows the Archdiocese of Detroit’s Safe Environments policy, in alignment with the USCCB Charter for the Protection of Children and Young People. Those who are not in compliance by January 1 will be asked to pause their service until all requirements are met.
